Soon after returning to Pennsylvania, Michael married Teresa who is from Ohio and during that same week they opened the new store. Michael thought that the people in this area would want to buy the furniture built by the people he had come to know and trust. Gish’s carries a wide range of furniture, from kitchen tables, hutches, office desks and curios to bedroom furniture and baby cribs. All the furniture is primarily available in solid oak or cherry wood and in 15 different stain colors. The furniture is also finished in the catalyzed conversion varnish of which Michael is so confident.
